OROFAR contains anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent for topical treatment of diseases caused by bacteria, viruses and fungi that cause sore throat and infections of the mouth and throat; sore throat, colds, pharyngitis or laryngitis (with or without difficulty in swallowing), small mouth ulcers (sores) and inflamed gums. OROFAR spray may be used as a maintenance treatment for angina.
OROFAR spray is indicated for the treatment of children over 4 years and adults.
Do not use OROFAR spray:
-if you are allergic to the active substances - quaternary ammonium compounds or lidocaine, or nyakoyaot other ingredients of this medicine.
Warnings and Precautions:
Consult your doctor if inflammation of the throat accompanied by fever or lasts more than five days.
OROFAR spray is intended for use on the oral mucosa (mouth and throat). The spray should not be used if the applicator is damaged.
Like all medicines OROFAR spray can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
In some cases it may be slightly short irritation at the application site.
In very rare cases may experience allergic reactions such as skin rash and swelling of the face and throat.
HOW TO USE :
Apply OROFAR to the mouth or back of the oral cavity from 3 to 6 times daily. Keep spray upright and press 4 times during each application.
Remove the protective cap.
Place the applicator on the pump and press firmly.
Before initial use, activate the pump by pressing the applicator several times to the emergence of spray into the air.
The applicator is disinfected after use with a clean cloth moistened with a small amount of spray and then dry. In particular, the applicator should be disinfected and dried before use OROFAR spray from another patient.
The applicator is removed after use and stored in the outer carton of OROFAR spray until the next use.
Use in children:
OROFAR spray may be used in children over 4 years, but the dose should be reduced. Spray only two to three times at each administration.
OROFAR spray is not recommended to be used in children under 4 years of age.
INGREDIENTS :
The active substances are benzoxonium chloride and lidocaine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients (excipients) are: ethanol 94% (w / w), glycerol, peppermint oil, menthol, hydrochloric acid, purified water.
