1. Name of the medicinal product
Crestor 5 mg film-coated tablets.
Crestor 10 mg film-coated tablets.
Crestor 20 mg film-coated tablets.
Crestor 40 mg film-coated tablets.
2. Qualitative and quantitative composition
5 mg: Each tablet contains 5 mg rosuvastatin (as rosuvastatin calcium). Each tablet contains 94.88 mg lactose monohydrate.
10 mg: Each tablet contains 10 mg rosuvastatin (as rosuvastatin calcium). Each tablet contains 91.3 mg lactose monohydrate.
20 mg: Each tablet contains 20 mg rosuvastatin (as rosuvastatin calcium). Each tablet contains 182.6 mg lactose monohydrate.
40 mg: Each tablet contains 40 mg rosuvastatin (as rosuvastatin calcium). Each tablet contains 168.32 mg lactose monohydrate.

Crestor (Rosuvastatin) 10mg 28 Tablets
Crestor (Rosuvastatin) 10mg 28 Tablets contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, which belongs to a group of medicines called statins, which are fat regulating medicines. It is used to lower lips known as cholesterol and other fats in the blood. Whist taking Crestor, you should also maintain a cholesterol lowering diet. You should not take Crestor if you have, or have ever had a disease which affects the liver, if you have had any unexplained abnormal blood tests for liver function, if you are a woman able to have children and not using reliable contraception, if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant or if you are breastfeeding. You must speak to your doctor before taking Crestor, because it may be insuitable for you if:
•You have ever had a stroke with bleeding into the brain or have small pockets of fluid in the brain from previous strokes.
•You have kidney problems
•You have an under-active thyroid gland
•You regularly drink large amounts of alcohol
•You are older than 70 years old
•You have had repeated or unexplained muscle aches or pains, a personal history or family history of muscle problems
•You have had previous muscle problems during treatment with other lipid-lowering medicines
•You have a history of liver disease
•You have severe respiratory failure
If you take any of medicines, you must speak to your doctor before taking Crestor, particularly the following:
•Medicines used to alter the way your immune system works
•Certain antibiotics or antifungal medicines
•Other medicines to regulate lipid levels
•Some calcium channel blockers used for angina or high blood pressure
•Medicines used to treat HIV
Product Description
Crestor 10 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high cholesterol.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Crestor 10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Product Description
CRESTOR is indicated as adjunctive therapy to diet to reduce elevated Total-C, LDL-C, ApoB, nonHDL-C, and triglycerides and to increase HDL-C in adult patients with primary hyperlipidemia or mixed dyslipidemia. Lipid-altering agents should be used in addition to a diet restricted in saturated fat and cholesterol when the response to diet and nonpharmacological interventions alone has been inadequate.
Dosage:
5 to 40 mg orally once daily. The usual starting dose is 10 to 20 mg once daily. 
The usual starting dose in adult patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia is 20 mg once daily.
CRESTOR can be administered as a single dose at any time of day, with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed whole.
Side effects:
Headache.
Myalgia.
Abdominal pain.
Asthenia.
Nausea.
Composition:
Rosuvastatin calcium equivalent to 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg of rosuvastatin. The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, calcium phosphate, crospovidone, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, triacetin, titanium dioxide
