Arbiten Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, and post-heart attack. This medicine works by preventing the activity of certain natural substances which tightens the blood vessels. Thus, the blood flows more smoothly, and the heart pumps more efficiently. Arbiten is also used to treat kidney disease caused by high blood sugar (diabetic nephropathy).
Arbiten Tablet may also be used together with other medicines to treat certain conditions as recommended by the doctor. It is used in combination with other anti-hypertensives to treat high blood pressure.

Arbiten tablet is used with or without food. Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.
The typical dose of Arbiten is 80-320 mg/day for high bp, and 40-160 mg twice daily for Heart failure. The maximum adult dose of Arbiten is 320 mg in divided doses for heart failure, 160 mg twice daily for post heart attack and 320 mg for high blood pressure in a day.
Side Effects:
Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
