What Irbesartan is used for:
Irbesartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) indicated for: 
Treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure.
Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions.
Treatment of diabetic nephropathy in hypertensive patients with type 2 diabetes,
an elevated serum creatinine, and proteinuria.
Do not take Irbesartan if:
Hypersensitivity to Irbesartan  
You are taking aliskiren with diabetes.
Warnings & Precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Irbesartan to monitor:
Kidney functions 
Potassium levels 
Possible side effects 
These include
Hypotension 
Dizziness
Nausea, vomiting
Other medicines and Irbesartan:
Tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and herbal supplements.
Increased risk of lithium toxicity when taken together
Increased risk of kidney damage and reduction of its effects when taken with Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and COX-2 inhibitors (like ibuprofen, ketoprfen, celecoxib)
Not recommended use with potassium supplements to avoid increase of potassium levels in blood.
How to take Irbesartan:
Adults above 18 years of age:
The usual dose is: 1 tablet daily for both hypertension and diabetic neuropathy
Irbesartan tablet can be taken with or without food 
It can be taken any time of the day 
Do not break the tablet in half 
How to store Irbesartan:
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store at Room Temperature [77°F (25°C)]. 
Do not store above 30°

Uses
This medication is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).
Side Effects
Dizziness, lightheadedness, or upset stomach may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
When not to use
Patients with Hypotension, hypovolemia, Hypovolemia increases the risk of symptomatic hypotension and azotemia during therapy, Heart failure, renal artery stenosis, Hyperkalemia, Hepatic disease, ACE-inhibitor induced angioedema.
ِِAprovel 150 mg | 300 mg dosage
Dosage The recommended starting and usual maintenance dose is 150 mg given as a single dose daily during or after meals. Aprovel at a dose of 150 mg once a day usually provides better control of blood pressure over 24 hours than the 75 mg dose. However, initiation of treatment with 75 mg daily may be considered particularly in hemodialysis patients or patients over 75 years of age.

ما هو إيربيسارتان وما هو استخدامه:
إيربيسارتان هو حاصرات مستقبلات الأنجيوتنسين 2 (ARB) موضحة في:
علاج ارتفاع ضغط الدم. يقلل خفض ضغط الدم من مخاطر الإصابة بأمراض القلب والأوعية الدموية القاتلة وغير المميتة ، وخاصة السكتات الدماغية واحتشاء عضلة القلب.
علاج اعتلال الكلية السكري لدى مرضى ارتفاع ضغط الدم المصابين بداء السكري من النوع 2 وارتفاع الكرياتينين في الدم والبيلة البروتينية.
لا تتناول إيربيسارتان:
 إذا فرط الحساسية لمادة ايربيسارتان 
إذا تتناول أليسكيرين مع مرض السكري.
التحذيرات والإحتياطات:

الأدوية الأخرى و إيربيسارتان:
أخبر طبيبك أو الصيدلي عن جميع الأدوية التي تتناولها ، بما في ذلك الأدوية التي تصرف دون وصفة طبية والفيتامينات والمكملات العشبية.
زيادة خطر سمية الليثيوم عند تناولها معًا
زيادة خطر تلف الكلى وتقليل آثاره عند تناوله مع مضادات الالتهاب غير الستيرويدية (NSAIDs) ومثبطات COX-2 (مثل إيبوبروفين ، كيتوبرفين ، سيليكوكسيب)
لا ينصح باستخدامه مع مكملات البوتاسيوم لتجنب ارتفاع مستويات البوتاسيوم في الدم.
كيف تأخذ إيربيسارتان:
البالغين الذين اعمارهم أكثر من 18 سنة الجرعة المعتادة هي قرص واحد يومياً لكل من ارتفاع ضغط الدم والاعتلال العصبي السكري
يمكن تناول قرص إيربيسارتان مع الطعام أو بدونه
يمكن تناوله في أي وقت من اليوم 
لا تكسر القرص إلى نصفين
كيفية  تخزين إيربيسارتان:
احفظ هذا الدواء بعيدًا عن أنظار ومتناول أيدي الأطفال.
يخزن في درجة حرارة الغرفة [77 درجة فهرنهايت (25 درجة مئوية)].
لا تخزن فوق 30 درج
