HOW SHOULD I USE KINZY?
Use Kinzy as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
 
An extra patient leaflet is available with Kinzy. Talk to your pharmacist if you have questions about this information.
Take Kinzy by mouth with or without food.
Swallow Kinzy whole with water. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing.
Continue to take Kinzy even if you feel well. Do not miss any doses.
If you miss a dose of Kinzy, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses on the same day.
Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Kinzy.
Kinzy is used to treat patients who suffer from urinary incontinence (inability to control urine) and increased urinary frequency, which is usually caused by an overactive bladder.

Each tablet contains Solifenacin succinate 5 mg or 10 mg, corresponding to Kinzy 3.8 mg and 7.5 mg, respectively.
Kinzy also contains the following excipients: Core Tablet: Pregelatinised maize starch, lactose, hypromellose and magnesium stearate. Film Coating: Macrogol 8000, purified talc, hypromellose, titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide (5 mg only) and red iron oxide (10 mg only).
Kinzy is (3R)-1-azabicyclo[2.2.2]oct-3-yl(1S)-1-phenyl-3,4-dihydroisoquinoline-2(1H)-carboxylate monosuccinate.
The empirical formula is C23H26N2O2·C4H6O4, with a molecular weight of 480.55.
KINZY DOSAGE
 
Dosing Information
The recommended dose of Kinzy is 5 mg once daily. If the 5 mg dose is well tolerated, the dose may be increased to 10 mg once daily. Kinzy should be taken with water and swallowed whole. Kinzy can be administered with or without food.
 
Dose Adjustment in Patients with Renal Impairment
For patients with severe renal impairment (CLcr < 30 mL/min), a daily dose of Kinzy greater than 5 mg is not recommended.
 
Dose Adjustment in Patients with Hepatic Impairment
For patients with moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh B), a daily dose of Kinzy greater than 5 mg is not recommended. Use of Kinzy in patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh C) is not recommended.
 
Dose Adjustment in Patients Taking CYP3A4 Inhibitors
When administered with potent CYP3A4 inhibitors such as ketoconazole, a daily dose of Kinzy greater than 5 mg is not recommended.
