Flixotide works by reducing swelling and irritation in the lungs. It has an anti-inflammatory action. Only a very small dose is needed as it is inhaled straight to the lungs. Flixotide helps to prevent asthma attacks in people who need regular treatment.
 
Pressurised metered-dose aerosol. Each canister of FLIXOTIDE 50 Evohaler supplies 120 actuations. Each canister of FLIXOTIDE 125 Evohaler and 250 Evohaler supplies 60 or 120 actuations. FLIXOTIDE has a marked anti-inflammatory effect in the lungs.
 
Flixotide Evohaler. A standard asthma preventer containing fluticasone propionate. Usually used in the morning and evening to reduce inflammation in the lungs. Used correctly, Flixotide Evohaler can help to prevent asthma attacks.
Fluticasone inhalation may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
headache.
stuffy or runny nose.
hoarseness.
toothache.
sore or irritated throat.
painful white patches in the mouth or throat.
fever.
ear infection.
