Daktacort cream is a medicine which is used to treat inflamed conditions of the skin such as eczema and dermatitis which may be caused by infection with certain fungi and bacteria.
Daktacort hydrocortisone cream is a soothing treatment for fungal infections such as eczema, thrush and most commonly athlete's foot. Athlete's foot is a scaly rash that appears in between your toes and causes itchiness. If your feet sweat a lot and you wear the same shoes every day, you may be more likely to get athlete's foot as fungal infections thrive in warm and moist environments (such as gym trainers). Sweat rash is a sore, itchy red rash found in areas where the skin rubs together.
Daktacort hydrocortisone cream contains two active ingredients, hydrocortisone acetate and miconazole nitrate which work together to relieve swelling and destroy the fungi itself. Regular application of this product can help to provide gentle relief from painful inflammation and itchiness.

Dosage:
Adults and children over ten years: Apply sparingly to the affected area morning and night for up to seven days. If the infection has settled then swap to Daktarin or Canestan to continue treating the infection.

Used for the topical treatment of skin inflammation and infection.
Daktacort cream and ointment are prescribed to treat inflamed, infected skin disorders. These include infected eczema or dermatitis, ringworm, Candida skin infections and intertrigo (sometimes known as sweat rash) which occurs between folds of skin or areas of skin that rub together, eg between the buttocks or thighs, or beneath the breasts.
