Anoro Ellipta is a prescription medicine used to treat the symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD). Anoro Ellipta may be used alone or with other medications.
Anoro Ellipta belongs to a class of drugs called Anticholinergics, Respiratory; Beta2 Agonists; Respiratory Inhalant Combos.
It is not known if Anoro Ellipta is safe and effective in children.
What are the possible side effects of Anoro Ellipta?
Anoro Ellipta may cause serious side effects including:
worsening difficulty breathing,
wheezing,
difficulty breathing,
shortness of breath,
sweating,
nausea,
vomiting,
pain or discomfort in chest,
indigestion,
lightheadedness,
fast heart rate,
irregular heartbeat,
high blood pressure,
eye pain,
blurred vision,
seeing halos around lights,
red eyes,
swelling of the eye lids,
painful urination, and
little or no urination
Get medical help right away, if you have any of the symptoms listed above.

Anoro Ellipta (Umeclidinium Bromide/Vilanterol Trifenatate) is used to treat bronchitis, emphysema, and other COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) conditions. Anoro Ellipta contains two medications, Umeclidinium bromide and Vilanterol Trifenatate. Umeclidinium works by blocking certain receptors in the respiratory system, leading to the relaxation of muscles around the airways, improvement in lung function, and a decrease of mucus secretion. Vilanterol works by stimulating certain cells in the respiratory system, which leads to bronchodilation and the relaxation of airway muscles. Anoro Ellipta must be used regularly to be effective. Anoro is not a rescue medication.
